Celebrating Our Impact KEHA Annual Reports  Summarize the impacts of KEHA programs across the state  Provide information that aides state educational chairmen in crafting and adapting programs and plans  Provide data for Cooperative Extension Service reports and success stories

Cultural Arts & Heritage  More than 30,000 books read using the KEHA Book List  $14,816 in personal income earned from crafts and arts  $20,218 generated for fundraising projects from crafts and arts Highlights

Environment, Housing and Energy  1,777 KEHA members reported recycling regularly  1,477 KEHA members reported using water saving practices  599 KEHA members reported using landscaping for energy conservation Highlights

4-H Youth Development  KEHA member reported 45,952 volunteer hours working with youth  237 youth attended 4-H camp as a result of receiving a scholarship provided by a KEHA club or county organization  1,125 pillowcases were made and donated to local charitable programs or facilities Highlights

Family & Individual Development  150 clubs reported holding programs to support military families  More than 1,600 members participated in a Matter of Balance or fall prevention workshop or lesson Highlights

Food, Nutrition & Health  Reports indicated 719 KEHA members volunteered at local food banks or pantries and 3,424 donated food  Approximately 1,600 members reported changing their diets to improve health  Approximately 1,700 members reported exercising regularly Highlights

International  More than $6,800 was donated through “Coins for Change” with half of these funds supporting projects through the Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW)  1,964 KEHA members reported participation in a county international program Highlights

Leadership Development  More than 3,600 KEHA members participated in leadership training  Reports indicated more than 4,700 members volunteered time totaling 240,000 hours for Extension-sponsored events and activities  More than 185 scholarships were given at the club, county or area levels totaling $59, Highlights

Management & Safety  2,081 KEHA members reported using Extension resources in making financial decisions  4,267 KEHA members reduced family expenditures through coupon use  2,263 KEHA members reported using fall prevention techniques to prevent injury Highlights
