Sponsorship Committee Our Objectives To build ownership for IBA and its future development amongst the UK Alumni To find corporate sponsors who have benefitted from the talent nurtured at IBA To spread the IBA Story of Development into a World Class Business Education Institute Plan 2011/12 Build packages that can fit the marketing budgets of Corporate and individual sponsors Adopt the Student Centre being planned at IBA and raise funds for this specifically Work with the events committee to hold a fund raising Gala Event at least once a year Arrange for individuals and corporate who have philanthropic interests to visit the IBA Campus, meet with the Dean and Director of IBA The sponsorship team would like to thank KPMG, Habib Bank Ltd. and BankT&D Consulting for hosting the launch event.

Mentoring & Networking Committee Our Objectives To provide a Mentoring and Networking forum to alumni migrating to the UK as well as those already residing in the UK To encourage established professionals to provide a ‘role model’ to the less established To hold networking events where career opportunities and professional development can be discussed Plan 2011/12 Organize Networking events: – Dinners for industry sectors such as Banking and Finance, IT etc. – Speed networking session – Young/upcoming Entrepreneurs’ evening Hold IBA/ LUMS joint Alumni working sessions around industry sectors or predominant issues Bring in speakers from local government, police and community welfare groups to discuss how we can provide positive role models to young Asians in the UK.

Social Events Committee Our Objectives To develop social engagement amongst UK Alumni To help integrate the Alumni into British society Plan 2011/12 To organise at least one social event per quarter along with the networking committee: – Eid Lunch (Nov 2011) – Speaker session (Feb 2012) – Sports/Summer Picnic (Jul 2012) – Fundraising Gala Event (Annually)
