Montgomery Upper Middle School Bands and Chorus 2012 Hershey Park Trip Friday, May 11th and Saturday, May 12th 2012

Trip Information  Overnight Trip in Hershey, PA  7th and 8th Grade Concert Bands, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Choruses  Leave Friday, May 11th from UMS via Stout’s Charter Busses in the AM  Return to UMS on Saturday, May 12th in the evening.

*Schedule for the Week of the Trip *A detailed itinerary will be available closer to the trip date.

Tuesday, May 8th  7th Grade Concert Band Rehearsal 3:30p to 5:30p *Mandatory for all 7th grade band members attending the trip.

Wednesday, May 9th  8th Grade Concert Band Rehearsal 3:30p to 6:30p *Mandatory for all 8th grade band members attending the trip

Friday, May 11th, 2012  Students arrive to school at normal time  Load busses and depart UMS in the AM  Hotel check-in before (Band) after performances (Chorus)  Adjudicated performances at local schools between 4-9pm  Dinner Buffet at the Hotel after performances  Security on duty throughout the evening

Saturday, May 12th, 2012  Buffet Breakfast in the Hotel (included)  Arrive at the park in the morning  Students stay with chaperones throughout the day  Awards Ceremony in the Park in the afternoon  Depart for UMS in the evening

Trip Safety- our #1 Priority  A minimum of one Chaperone per 10 students in attendance  Students are supervised by Directors/Chaperones at all times throughout the trip. Student groups remain with their chaperone at the park throughout the day.  A Nurse and School Administrator will be attending.

Trip Includes the following:  Deluxe Hotel Rooms- Radisson Penn Harris  Full Admission to Hershey Park  Coach Bus Transportation  Pizza Party at Hotel  Buffet Breakfast at the Hotel

Payment Schedule  Friday, October 7th: $50 Payments may be submitted this evening.
