Workshop Costs FTA pays: Virginia Tech travels to participant site (3 trips) Four 3 day workshops Notebooks, supporting EMS Institute material All tuition costs for 10 four person teams. Web based EMS library Participant EMS team pays: Round trip travel for workshops Meals, lodging, gratuities, state and local taxes for 4 workshops

Workshop Costs 4 person team: Four 3 day workshops (including senior management representative for workshop #1): $11, If requested… billing may be split over two fiscal years – $5, approximately November 1, 2010 – $5, after July 1, 2011 Additional cost per person for 4 workshops: $2,878.00

One option to fund your share of the FTA EMS Institute: “We viewed the entire EMS activity as a planning initiative incorporated into the MPO's Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). We then programmed funding on our annual Section 5307 FTA Urbanized Area Formula Allocation towards a System Management & Operations Planning line item.
