1. to create a packet to be given to the professional advisor at a personal meeting vision This folder contains: our foundation brochures tax credit information bequest language suggestions board of directors information information about our funds Information about our tools for giving foundation contact information and website our website has a page for professional advisor information

2. to set up as many individual meetings with professional advisors as possible vision We invited them to lunch or met with them at their office. We found that a telephone conference was acceptable for someone with a busy schedule who was reluctant to say yes.

vision 3. to host a professional advisors seminar We partnered with the United Way of Story County to host a seminar on November 1 st. We contracted with Johni Hays of the Stelter Group to put on the seminar and offered continuing education credits for the legal, insurance and accounting fields.

4. to develop a detailed database of our professional advisors We went through the phone book and put all the professional advisors (bank trust officers, accountants, CPAs, attorneys, insurance, and financial planners) on a database. We have begun to track any information we gather about them Name Business Address City, State, Zip address Knowledge level Interest Notes vision

5. to create an database of professional advisors willing to receive occasional updates from us as we learn of legislative issues or have information about the foundation to share vision
