90210 is a T.V series with 5 seasons that is based on students who attend West Beverly Hills High School. This drama premiered in 2008 on September 2 nd. After 5 seasons, the finale was aired in 2013 on May 13 th was originally created by Darren Star, but this show is the fourth Beverly Hills series. This season was produced by Rob Thomas, Jeff Judah, and Gabe Sachs.

This show takes place in Beverly Hills, California. Mostly at the West Beverly Hills High School where the students attend and are introduced. The high school seems very high up because it’s full of rich kids. I think Beverly Hills, California is the perfect setting for this show because California is a beautiful country. Then there’s Beverly Hills full of Gorgeous houses and rich people. It goes along perfectly with the characters.

Naomi is played by AnnaLynne McCord. Naomi Clark is a popular girl who comes from a rich family. She is dating the captain of the lacrosse team who is also popular. After finding out that he cheated on her with Annie Wilson, they break up. She hangs out with her best friends Adrianna, Erin Silver, and Annie. Naomi comes across as snobby due to her popular character in school. If you get passed her snobbiness, there’s more to her. There is a protective side over her friends and a good person at heart. Then There’s the cruel and manipulative side to her when she is offended or hurt. There’s 3 sides to Naomi Clark. A side to her friends, a side to her family, and a side to her teachers.

Dustin Milligan plays the character of Ethan Ward. Ethan is portrayed as the popular boy who is the star athlete of the school. As well as the captain of the Lacrosse team. Steven Ward is Ethan’s autistic brother and his parents are divorced. As being the popular boy in school, he is known to be good looking. At the beginning of season one, Ethan is dating popular Naomi Clark. The eventually is hinted to that he is cheating on Naomi with Annie Wilson.

Erin is a character in who hangs out with Naomi who is also well known (popular). After Naomi told the whole school about Silver’s parents sex tape, they were no longer friends. In school, Erin is called by her last name, Silver. She will not respond to her first name. Silver has a blog called The Vicious Circle which is used to talk about and discuss intimacy whether is was true or not about the people at West Beverly Hills High School.

This teen drama is similar to many other teen dramas deals with parties and drinking. They explore drugs and stealing. Another issue is school work/homework. The series is relatable to our lives. Many teens are into drugs and alcohol, many steal. I’m also pretty sure that everyone has had problems with school work at one time or another. I don’t think this show sends a positive message to teens today because drugs and stealing aren’t something that set a role for people who look up to someone. Ex. If my little sister said she wanted to be like Adriana because she’s pretty etc. There’s that part of her that does drugs and I wouldn’t want my sister to get into drugs just because she looked up to somebody. Another major issue that is portrayed in this show is relationships. There is relationships between friends, boyfriends and girlfriends. They deal with cheating, betraying, lies, and going behind friends back telling secrets to the whole school.

This show has an average of 1.69 million has a relatable story to most teenagers so that raises the viewing. It also has a good story line to the show. The drama is what really catches attention of most viewers. School is another thing that we can relate to because we’re all in school. Knowing that the characters are roughly the same age, we have the same problems, or drama related issues.

If I were to compare to another show, it would be Zoey 101. Zoey 101 is a drama that I think is nothing like The two shows have many similarities and many differences. These series include drama about friendships, relationships, school work, etc. What these shows are different about is the language, the parties, drugs, intimacy has bad language, parties etc., but is more suitable for an older audience. On the other hand, Zoey 101 is more of a family drama. There’s a few kisses here and there, but nothing like making out in like every second scene such as It’s more of a younger audience show that’s got the drama, but it’s not as intense.
