Personal Protective Equipment Make sure to always wear proper clothing Safety glasses will be provided and should be worn any time you are operating equipment or are around equipment being used Hearing protection will be provided and should be used whenever gas powered equipment is in operation and removed when equipment is not in use
Proper Transport Only ride on equipment sitting properly in a seat Never ride in the bed of the one ton or gator Always secure all equipment in the bed of the one ton or gator before heading to the next work location Keep your speed appropriate for where you are, campus speed limit is 20 mph
Gator This is not a toy, this vehicle is very important for our job and is very expensive Do not drive aggressively, spinning out to turn etc. Do not try to turn and dump a passenger out… Always secure equipment in the bed before moving to the next work area Take good care of the gator, this job would be very difficult without it
