Groups meeting to work on the EPPI include:  Exercise and Training ◦ Groups include a wide variety of representatives from local, state, federal government, private sector  Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) Team ◦ Interagency Debris Management Task Force (IDMTF) ◦ Resource Support/Commodities ◦ Mass Care  State of Connecticut Public Safety Interoperability Communications Committee ◦ Technology (Communications) ◦ ARES 3

Where? Statewide with primary focus on severe weather event in DEMHS Region 5 *DEMHS Regions 1-4 in a support role to Region 5

 The exercise has been made a grant deliverable (one less thing to have to do!)  Good communications are critical. Getting together to address issues now (who is responsible for what) will help to spread the workload, and save time and energy when a serious incident occurs  State EOC and Simulation Cell active both days  Situational updates to be provided leading up to the exercise
