Holocaust Research English SWP Some examples of research That can be used to Develop a Photo Story video project PS look at the Notes view of the slides – I have extra info for some slides here.

Pictures and research data… Can be put together with Photo Story 3 and turned into a video presentation. Students can obtain quality images and information from the databases and quality sites suggested by English teacher and media staff. Combine images with voiceovers based on research

Sources of images Databases – remember – quality sources, complete with MLA citations. Quality websites – such as the Holocaust Museum – MLA citations can be built with NoodleTools (query – students need accounts) Extra databases at HCPL – (query – students need library cards) – more information from more quality sources – again – citation is supplied.

Basic Google Search pros and cons Most of this search page is decent – (see additional info in notes below) LLAe

Student challenge Use resources to select information and images needed for the parameters of the project. Are we talking Holocaust as in World War II? Are we talking about other examples of genocide in world history? We can research that!

What search results looks like in Gale Student Resources in Context

Overall theme Genocide in history – Example resource from Gale Student Resources in Context
