ASP Colloquium: Regional Biogeochemistry Maura Hagan13 June 2007 –Opportunities for NCAR staff to host graduate students and support them in their thesis research at NCAR with the endorsement of their University advisors –Funding for 3-12 month student visits; travel and per diem –Funding for 1-2 visits by faculty advisor of up to 2 weeks at a time Advanced Study Program Graduate Student Visitor Program –Student visitor participation in ASP career development and social activities –During its inaugural year, 19 students and 13 advisors came to NCAR under GVP auspices –18 applications received for new visits starting before January 2008 –10 students and 10 advisors will be funded Michelle Hawkins, Howard University (ACD) with Robert Houze, ASP Thompson Lecturer Sharmila Padmanabhan, Colorado State University (EOL)
