P re-Dental Society was reestablished in the fall of 2010 and is a student-run organization at the University of Texas at Arlington. We strive for excellence in care and quality of service in our community as well as the rest of the state of Texas. Our organization consists of guest speakers, dental school tours, Project Smiles, social events, shadowing and volunteer opportunities, and much more.

OUR MISSION IS: TO EDUCATE, MOTIVATE, AND GENERATE FUTURE DENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS DEDICATED TO CARE AND QUALITY OF SERVICE

 Membership Application: See Eric  Membership Dues  $35: whole school year, and T-shirt  $20: membership  $20: T-shirt  T-shirts used at all PDS volunteer events

 3 Scholarships offered at the end of spring semester  Win scholarships by earning points!  Point Distribution  Meetings = 1 point (+1 extra point for wearing a PDS shirt to the meetings)  Project Smiles = 10 points  Predental Clinic = 10 points  Allan Saxe Dental Clinic = 2 points/hr (need signed documentation)  Non-PDS Volunteering = 0.5 points/2 hrs (need signed documentation)  Texas Mission of Mercy = 15 points/shift
