Setting up ”operational groups” to bring together innovation actors (farmers, researchers, advisors, environmental groups, consumer interests groups or other NGOs) to advance innovation in the agricultural sector. 10 Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Development - Hungary’s main tasks in the near future enhance the R & D activities in agriculture, improve international coordination increase companies’ capacities to operate own unit for R&D, establish a system operated by the state and make results available for enterprises, successful operation of knowledge transfer (research results to be disseminated for farmers), closer connection and interaction is needed between research and practice.
