ACCOMPLISHMENTS Became a professor at the University of Jena His work was often opposed by his contemporaries. Became known as one of the most important logicians in history.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS CONT. Developed the theory of sense and denotation into a philosophy language Showed that arithmetic could be reduced to second- order logic with Hume’s Principle.
FAMILY LIFE A minimal amount is known of his family life Married Margaret Lieseburg after the publication of Begriffsschrift. Had at least two children that unfortunately passed away at a young age.
