What is a Neighbourhood Action Plan? Part of the Merton Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy which focuses on ‘bridging the gap’ between the East and the West of the borough Deriving from the national strategy ensuring that ‘no-one is disadvantaged by where they live’ more importantly that every individual has equal access to services such as good education, community safety, clean environment etc. 2 year action plan developed in partnership with local agencies and across council departments – project focused responding to issues on what residents would like to see improved in their area – ‘shaping your neighbourhood’
