Feeding: Various companies including Clover and various private individuals do feeding schemes in the form of cooked meals, braai’s etc. Functions are being held on special occasions such as Christmas parties, Easter and birthdays. Outside Families enjoy celebrating their birthdays at Ebenezer, to share this special day with everyone at the Home. Companies also organise functions (Culinary the Lights) at the Home with the aim to generate funds, which assist with the running of the Home and for the Home to become self – as stained.

Bakery: “From buying bread to baking our own bread is a great miracle and an empowerment”, All thanks to Clover for the skills (Advance Baking Courses) and the equipment and for their continued support. By having the bakery we can now generate funds, which will assist with the running of the Home. “Residents at the Home enjoy the benefit of freshly baked produce” We value Skills Development: We are now more empowered and pro-active and can also transfer the skills and knowledge received from Clover Advance Baking Course to the surrounding community, in order for them to find jobs.

Nursery & Pre-School: Education is the key to success and a tool to alleviate poverty, the youth of today is the future of tomorrow, so we believe its important to ensure that we give each child quality education, through the generosity of the Business & Public Sector our children now have access to a decent education. We also offer aftercare for the children of the surrounding communities as well as sleep-ins.

Children’s Village: Each child has a “clean and healthy” living environment including a housemother. Housemother Responsibilities: - To ensure that everything is in order where the child is concerned - Teaches child to be respectful, well mannered and teaches child other important morals & values. - Allocates chores to the grown children * To pray with the children * Gives the child the necessary Support and Love * Ensure that Hygiene levels are up to standard * To ensure schoolwork is up to date * To discipline child if ill-mannered Teach the child to share with others and be open and honest. To Prioritise children with special needs (ensure that the necessary measures are put in place.

Old Folks Village: There are caregivers allocated for different needs of the old folks such as, Health Care, Hygiene, Fitness, occupational therapy such as (knitting, reading, watching television, board games etc.) Cleaning of ablution blocks, rooms and garden area. We ensure that the necessary measures are put in place for those old folks with special needs. Each Old Folk has a “clean and healthy” living environment and receives the Love and Support they need.

Church: We encourage religious aspects. Church services are being held every Sunday on the premises. During the week we have bible study classes, prayer meetings and devotions every morning to build residents spiritually, however its held on a voluntary basis and not by force.

WE CARE FOR PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS, DISABILITIES, HIV / AIDS AND OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS…….

We even get orders to design aprons, dresses, chair covers, graduation gowns etc. The funds we generate go towards the running of the Home. We equip and train the surrounding community with the necessary skills so they can find jobs. ALL THANKS TO CLOVER!!!
