Alleluia, Christ is risen, He is risen indeed Alleluia And so we gather. In the name of the father…

This is the day That the Lord has made We will rejoice And be glad in it This is the day that the Lord has made We will rejoice and be glad in it This is the day That the Lord has made.

Your word makes our thoughts loving. Lord have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Your Word makes our words kind. Christ have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Your Word makes our hearts warm. Lord have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

God of hope, there are times when we are filled with doubt and uncertainty. As followers of Jesus may we always find the right path to restore our faith and beliefs. Amen.

Alleluia, Alleluia

Reading from the holy Gospel according to John Glory to you, Lord The Gospel of the Lord Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ

Alleluia, Alleluia

I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today. I wonder how the disciples felt when Jesus appeared before them. I wonder why Thomas didn’t believe the disciples until he saw Jesus for himself.

Shalom my friend, shalom my friend, Shalom, Shalom The peace of Christ I give you today, Shalom, Shalom When Jesus appeared to the disciples, he wished peace upon them. I invite you to make the sign of peace with the people either side of you and wish peace to one another through the short song Shalom. As we sing can a child from each class collect a symbol of peace from the altar.

The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. We pray that our school community share the Gospel of Peace through acceptance, understanding and forgiveness. Lord, in your mercy… We pray that families and homes divided by anger and unkindness may discover the healing peace of Christ. Lord, in your mercy… We pray that people who are filled with doubt and uncertainty may find faith in our risen Lord. Lord, in your mercy…

Knowing that our heavenly Father is listening, in the silence of our hearts let us share our unspoken prayers with him.

Loving God, you sent your beloved son Jesus to transform our world with his peace and love. As his followers, help us to share that living love and peace with one another. We make our prayers through Christ our Lord. Amen.

This is my body broken for you bringing you wholeness, making you free Take it and eat it and when you do, Do it in love for me. This is my blood poured out for you bringing forgiveness, making you free Take it and drink it and when you do, do it in love for me. Back to my Father soon I shall go Do not forget me, then you will see I am still with you, and you will know you're very close to me. Filled with my Spirit, how you will grow You are my branches, I am the tree If you are faithful, others will know you are alive in me. Love one another, I have loved you and I have shown you how to be free Serve one another, and when you do, do it in love for me.
