Introduction  In Literature Reviews, the introduction is the entire paper  Introduction should provide: –Background about your topic –Why the topic is important to psychology –Where the paper is going (tell your reader what you plan to tell them) –Review relevant literature  Headings  Jargon

Discussion  For this class only, include a discussion section  Address any questions raised in the introduction  Provide future directions of study on your topic  Discuss the process of writing a literature review in reference to this course, psychology in general, and your personal experiences  The Discussion section of your paper does not have to be long and should be no longer than 1.5 pages, 1 page or less is ideal

References  Include the following parts –The author –Date work was published –Title –Whether the work appears as part of a larger work (journal, chapter in a essay collection) –Where it was published –Who published it –Info to retrieve the work (web page)  See examples for APA style  Use the style manual or online references
