Research Proven Program Recommendations Literacy and Math Readiness Core I & II Resource ( including MAP Resource ) MAP/Core (Functional ) For additional guidance on choosing the appropriate program and/or strategy for your students, please contact your Instructional Coach.

The following top-down topic webs have been created to offer guidance for choosing the appropriate research based program or strategy to address students’ needs as gleaned from students’ IEP goals and formative and summative assessments. The webs will also aid in the horizontal and vertical alignment of services that are offered to students as they transfer or are promoted to other schools within our district. While much attention has been given to developing this resource, we understand that each student is an individual with unique instructional needs. Therefore, please contact your instructional coach if additional research based options are needed to address students’ individual academic needs. Placement assessments or links to each are located on the WSFCS EC Professional Development Team web page. ( EC Professional Development Team web pagehttp://wsfcs.k12.nc.us/Page/285 Additional information regarding each program can be accessed through the hyperlink attached to the program name.
