National Chi Nan University Conclusion SCTP provides more flexible ways to transport messages in smart meter networks. When the packet loss rate is less than 10%, the performance of SCTP is better than TCP. In order to provide a stable communication services between providers and customers, using SCTP is a clever choice. 16
National Chi Nan University Future work Porting transport protocols in real test platforms and integrating network management system is my next target. Enhance security of smart meter networks to against malicious attacks and prevent unauthorized access in smart meter networks. 17
