SIGHLT (special interest group in human language technology) 21 years old under KIISE (formerly KISS) Current member size 270 Hold annual HCLT conference (on Korean language day on Oct) Other activities such as hop topic tutorials, ontology/semantic web workshops, joint special workshops with KIISE, etc

Last year activities HCLT 2008 (Oct 10-11, 2008; SNU) –37 papers/ 150 registration –20yr anniversary (make CD for every papers during 20 years) ILVB joint workshop (July 2, 2008) (in KCC: main conference of KIISE) KIPONTO 2008 (Oct 9, 2008) –KIPONTO challenge (semantic web, NLP software competition)
