 L/O: To describe the settlements for Vikings in Britain.  Starter: Describe one similarity between Saxons and Vikings

 Recap: Name 3 Gods the Vikings worshipped.  What was Valhalla?  Did they perform human sacrifices?  What was their name for the place in the sky where gods lived?

 Go to:  primaryhistory/vikings/viking_ settlements/ primaryhistory/vikings/viking_ settlements/  Read all information from left hand boxes.

 Write a newspaper account of a meeting of a Thing.  What kind of problems have people brought along to have settled?  Think how people get to the meeting.  Where do they sleep and eat?  Compare the Thing in Viking times with the way we make laws today.
