EVALUATION: Is Catching Fire a good example of Realistic Fiction? Suzanne Collins shows how Catching Fire is a realistic fiction novel because she shows how modern technology could advance into Realistic things. She shows the fiction part by making up a Dictator and a country that’s called Panem. When you combine the realism of the weapons and the possibility of a world war that leaves North America a wasteland. That makes the novel Realistic Fiction.
