P RIVACY CONTROLS ON SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES

S OCIAL NETWORK THREAT TO KIDS PRIVACY 92% parents are concerned that children share too much information online. 85% parents are more concerned about online privacy than they were five years ago. 75% parents think social networking sites don’t do a good job of protecting children’s online privacy

P ORNOGRAPHY USED IN SOCIAL NETWORKING FRAUD A fraudulent website called phishing has tried to make an association between a pornographic website and the social networking brand. The motive was to trick users into believing that they can view pornography with all the added features for free within the social networking website. If fraudsters are successful, the user would have given up his or her login credentials to the phishing website in the hopes of viewing pornography or participating in adult chat.
