In order to achieve a grade C or above you must:  explore the meaning of the poem to offer a clear interpretation  analyse the language and techniques of the poem and discuss their intended effect on the reader  imagine what the poet is trying to achieve by writing the poem and give a personal response to the poem.  You must prepare an organised and precise presentation and deliver it with reasonable confidence and fluency (ensure you use Standard English grammar and vocabulary).
