Aim of this project To equip individuals with the skills to be employed in line with emerging skill shortages and emerging job opportunities in the same company or with a new employer Make it easier for people to access the support they need following or pending redundancy “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network

No restriction on the type of provision as long as it is:- Organised and structured Delivered to suit individuals’ existing skill levels Fits local market intelligence – job opportunities Suits individuals’ own career aspirations Activity must be focused on skills development and link to employment “ Our Future! Training Delivery Does not have to be accredited Or lead to the achievement of qualifications Training should be specific to the requirements of the individual’s target employment Link pre-employment training to progression to job with ER funded provision (project outcome) “ Our Future! Eligibility Individuals will need to be 18+ and Eligible for LSC and ESF funding “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network

Key Target Groups – definitions Group 1: Individuals aged 18+ Possession of a personal redundancy letter (individual or name is part of a group) on employers’ letter head Listed as ‘under notice’ or redundancy from a specific date – pending redundancy “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network

Key Target Groups – definitions Group 2: Individuals aged 18+ Possession of a personal redundancy letter (individual or name is part of a group) on employers’ letter head Redundant within the last 3 months “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network

Key Target Groups – definitions Group 3: Individual aged 18+ Not in paid employment or self employment Available and actively seeking work Unemployed between 0-6 months “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network

Eligible Individuals will be offered a range of education and training services to develop skills to help them: Retain employment or Find new employment “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network

Individuals unemployed for 6 months +, refer on to 6 Months Offer run by 5 colleges: North Notts College West Notts College New College Nottingham Castle College South Notts College “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network

Geographical Area = Nottinghamshire Individuals outside of area under notice of redundancy: Depends on where employer based or where individual lives If employer is based in Nottinghamshire then employees outside the region will be eligible If there are employees involved who live outside of the area, check with NTN before signing up to ensure eligibility “ Our Future! Learners who obtain a job with TTG or Apprenticeship Training have priority for Train to Gain funding “ Our Future! It’s in our hands. " Nottinghamshire Training Network
