SPELLINGS AND TIMES TABLES Blast Off! and spelling workshops will take place each week. The multiplication squares are inside the cover of homework books. Spellings are generally based on words they have made mistakes with in their writing books. We will also continue to investigate different grammar or spelling conventions each week and they may sometimes be given these words or useful topic related words to learn. LITERACY AND NUMERACY Each week the children will be given maths or literacy work to consolidate what we have been doing in class that week. READING The children need to read daily to an adult at home and a note of this kept in the reading record book so that the progression in reading outside of school can be seen. (Reading records collected and certificates given out for reading each Friday.) Guided reading sessions will take place 5 times a week in addition to free classroom reading.

There are trips in process of being organised for this year and a letter will be sent out with all of the relevant information when confirmed.
