TOURISM PLANNING AT NATIONAL LEVEL Tourism policy Marketing strategies Taxation structures Investments policies Legislation Infrastructure development Transport systems & organizations Education, training and manpower programs

TOURISM PLANNING AT REGIONAL LEVEL Sets of activities that deals with the development of tourism at regional level It tends to be much more detailed & specific Not possible to consider regional development as an isolated and independent issue It must be considered in the scope with national development goals

TOURISM PLANNING AT LOCAL LEVEL Tourism planning at local level adopts diverse forms Forms related to organization of tourism resources, physical development and visitor management However, recently local planning authorities have increasingly started to include concerns over social and environmental impacts of tourism in their local programs.

TOURISM PLANNING AT LOCAL LEVEL Tourism planning at local level is extremely important. Why? Planning at the local level is important if regions wish to deliver tourism experiences, which ensure satisfaction of both visitors and hosts.
