Thesis: The career that I am pursuing is Radiology but my goal is to become a Radiation therapist to work with children.  Radiation Therapist Tasks  Type of patients I want to work with  Education Needed to become a Radiation Therapist

 Work with oncologist to come up with treatment plan for patients  Use high-energy radiation  Radiation can be applied externally or internally

 I would love to work with children at the Primary Children's Hospital  Have to be able to speak with parents as well as children  Care of patients physical and emotional state

 Complete the 2 year Radiology Program at SLCC  Must be certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).  Can go to either University of Utah or Weber State University to complete the course

 Radiation Therapist Tasks  Type of Patients  Education Needed Thesis: Radiology is a great way to begin my career and will allow me to continue my long term goal to become a Radiation Therapist.
