Wolfenson Electric, Inc SMART Goals INTENTIONS pecific MeasurableA ttainable R elevant Track able NFPA 70E compliance PPE required when working in and around electrical equipment All Wolfenson employees who are working in and around electrical equipment must complete the NFPA 70E training. Managers will ensure compliance with NFPA 70E To prevent electrical incidents and injuries all employees who are working in and around electrical equipment are required to complete NFPA 70E training. 100% NFPA 70 E qualified for Journeyme n. Improve hazard identificatio n STACSTAC - Audit 25% of workforce STAC's /week (For 100 employees, 25 STACs will be reviewed/w eek for completen ess and specifics. 100% acceptable 1)Annual training will be held for all employees. 2)Safety contacts will facilitate STAC audits and report to constructio n managers the outcome and any necessary repeated training. It is important for employees to be able to identify the hazards that exist on the job. Improving the quality of the STAC will allow us to gain further awareness of the job hazards. Track employee and supervisor progress throughout year. Improve job planning Job execution plan and implement ation (Identificati on of Sensitive Equipment is necessary) Managers will review job performanc e with regards to job planning and execution. Supervisors will be held accountabl e for their job planning and execution. Foreman/w orker ratio is 1:5. Adequate understand ing of the job scope, sequence of tasks, sensitive equipment identificatio n, Quality Assurance and completion without incident is the result of detailed job planning. A safe job is a quality job. Track job performanc e by safety incidents, QAQC rework, and schedule. Increase skill training/as sessment NCCER skill training/as sessment Review all craftsmen NCCER training and assessmen t records. All Wolfenson craftsmen are 100% NCCER performanc e verified. All craftsmen will be encourage d to complete the NCCER written assessmen t to become Certified Plus. We recognize that a skilled workforce is a safe workforce. All employees will be encourage d to participate in the NCCER training and evaluation program. All craftsmen will be tracked according to their NCCER skill assessmen ts including performanc e evaluations and written assessmen ts. Long term goal - 100% of craftsmen will be Certified plus. Increase safety observatio ns/interven tions BBP observatio ns Foremen will be required to complete a minimum of 20 BBP/mont h. Special emphasis will be placed on identifying unsafe behaviors and intervening on those behaviors. Annual BBP training will be held to review the expectatio ns of supervisor field observatio ns. It is important for managers to observe their work groups and intervene when there are unaccepta ble behaviors on the jobsite. We should always strive for safety improveme nt on all jobs. All BBP participant s will be tracked according to number of cards and unaccepta ble behaviors/i ntervention s.
