BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT SEPTEMBER 8, 2015

RULES & CONSEQUENCES 1.Treat others the way you want to be treated. 2.Be safe- use common sense. 3.Positively participate. Students who do not follow the rules will be warned, miss recess, and will be sent to the principal’s office. Students must meet behavior requirements to attend science camp.

HOMEWORK minutes every night, Monday through Thursday Unfinished class assignments, science and social studies questions, studying for tests, long-term projects Extra time? Review class material, read, journal, investigate topics of interest No late work will be accepted for daily work. Long- term projects will be docked 10% for each day late.

GRADING Students have received password access for Engrade. I will update as work is graded- several times per week. Daily homework is usually worth 10 points. Rubrics will be provided for long-term projects and writing assignments. Point deductions will be made for inaccuracies, missing, and/or sloppy work at the teacher’s discretion as indicated on the work.
