Full-time Emergency Management Position A fulltime position at each university dedicated to emergency management is needed due to:  the increased demand to anticipate and respond to emergencies;  to better ensure the safety and welfare of the university community and its facilities; and;  additional requirements at federal, state and local levels to better coordinate responses to emergencies.
