Introduction Hell is not a popular topic. But preaching the truth about hell puts one in excellent company. Hell (geena or gehenna) occurs 13 times in NT (NKJV; 23 times in KJV). 11 of 13 usages of “hell” are made by Jesus. 2
Introduction The Bible describes hell as a terrible, awful place! “outer darkeness” (Matt. 25:30). “lake of fire” (Rev. 20:14-15). “tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Rev. 20:10). “Their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched” (Mk. 9:43-44). 3 Who will go there!
