The Internet is a global system network, that consists of ‘minor’ networks (LANs or WANs). This allows users to access information from other users from different networks who upload the information. * The Internet is not owned by anyone as it contains intellectual property of other people. This is a public property and so can not be owned by anyone. * But countries do have the right to control what sites can be shown or not shown.
