Changing teaching methodology to enhance  Basic Economics skills  Thinking skills  Writing skills  In-depth study  Students interest among the diverse students population in the subject of Economics

ChallengesSolution Diverse students intakeTaking extra session to bring students’ to required academic level. Poor writing skillsStudents will be asked to write and submit lecture summary daily. Rote learningTo promote in-dept learning students will be given handout from different books and group discussion will be organized on weekly basis. Low attendanceStudents will be involved in research work so that they must have something new to find from the library

At the end of the session the students should have the sufficient knowledge of the subject, they should be well equipped with generic, IT related skills to face the challenges of the 21 st century

 Students will be taught through latest subjective material.  Promote critical thinking and logical reasoning  Using Economics related computer packages like SPSS and E-VIEWS  Discussion/criticism on already written reports.  Finding solution through comparative analysis.
