Develop and present a PowerPoint presentation that details: A specific Career Cluster School Options that offer the education for career An educational program that best suits your needs to achieve this career. The educational requirements that are required for your chosen college major A description of what the educational program includes – highlights A detailed description of the specific career cluster Task

Grade Level Targeted: This is designed for high school Career & Financial Management students. Objectives: Students will be able to define the education program for their career Students will be able to demonstrate the benefits of the program Students will be able to show the career program of the school Students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in a specific career of interest Assignment Information: –Assignment is designed for individual students. –Resources needed: Computers, PowerPoint and Internet access. –Approximate time of completion: five – 40 min. periods for assignment. –Additional time will be given for presentations Teachers Page

Assessment- Rubric Student will develop and present a PowerPoint presentation that details: –Their choice of Career cluster –School Options that offer the education for career –A choice of an educational program that best suits their needs to achieve this career. –A description of what the educational program includes - highlights –Students will be able to describe the educational program for their career choice (presenting- show career wheel with choices for cluster) –Students will be able to compile a list of schools with the program for their career (show a list on power point) –Students will compare and contrast the programs for the different schools listed (use a Venn diagram) –Students will choose a program that best suits their career and financial situation. (Conclusion slide-college picked)

Students may receive extra credit by choosing one of the two options below. A.Create a business letter to be sent to a college or university requesting information on your chosen field. - The information that is received must be included in the presentation. B. Create a business letter to be sent to a current working professional in your career cluster. - Include specific questions -This information must be included in the presentation Above and Beyond
