Eurostats Environmental Accounts Programme - E.7 based on SEEA 2003: Monetary Flow Accounts relate to accounting-block A. It comprises 6 modules Physical and Hybrid Flow Accounts relate to accounting blocks C and E. It comprises 5 modules

Why Water Accounts at Eurostat ? …the mandate European Strategy for Environmental Accounts ESEA (2008 revision): …develop Water Accounts in the longer run ( ) => joint project of the European Statistical System ESS Eurostat = project manager Decision: to start with physical flow accounts ! …taking into account international developments
