Social Skills Lesson, December 14, 2012

What is interrupting?  When you interrupt someone, you talk when they are talking.  It can be very rude to interrupt someone because they may forget what they are trying to tell you.

How can you interrupt politely?  1. Wait  2. Say, “Excuse Me”  3. Say what you want to say

What if the person cannot be interrupted?  If you say “excuse me” and the person says, “not right now” or “please wait,” then you need to wait to say what you want to say.
