You will create an encyclopedia that describes and gives important facts of the 5 major world religions: – Monday: Hinduism – Tuesday: Buddhism – Wednesday: Judaism – Thursday: Christianity – Friday: Islam

World Religions Encyclopedia For each religion, you must include the following information: – Demographics # of followers, % of world population – Geography Where did the religion begin and spread to? Must include a map – Beliefs Describe the main beliefs and practices of the religion – Research your own answers Describe traditions, holidays, prayers, and god(s) List your sources!

World Religions Encyclopedia After you have researched each religion, you will complete a pie graph to show the percentage of each religion compared to the world population This will require math! Pie Chart Example:

Grades This will be the first FORMAL grade of the 3 rd quarter! – Each page of your encyclopedia is worth 15 possible points – The pie graph is worth 25 possible points 5 religions (15 points each) + pie graph (25 points) =100 possible points
