We think Every citizen of the world is global citizen. The man who cares about the environmental pollution, poverty, various human rights and social issues and tries to solve these problems is called a global citizen.

We can say- The man who thinks about environment, poverty, homelessness, freedom of speech and other problem and solves these for his family, neighborhoods, community, country and for the people of the world can be called global citizen.

#We talk some people to know: * What issues does he/she care about? * What can he/she do from his level individually? * What kind of community service he/she can do? * Is he/she thinking to do something nationally or internationally? They gave their opinion.

Name: Mrs. Kamrunahar Age: 37 Occupation: Teacher She cares about environment pollution and wants to make aware the youth people about their rights and responsibilities. Since last August she is working “Project Citizen Bangladesh” program. She did a project work on involving youth students to keep their environment clean. She can propose to the government to take steps to aware the young generation and to make them good people and it will be easy to solve all the problems.

NAME: Md. Abul Bashar AGE: 38 OCCUPATION: Teacher (Unit leader, Boys Scout, Gazipur. ) He also thinks about environment pollution. As a boy scout unit leader he is working on various environmental issues. Last month, with his group he tested arsenic in some areas and spoke to the people what should they do. In the next world scout conference he will propose these issues.

Name: Al-Amin. Age: 15 Occupation: Student He thinks about Poverty. He can form a group with his mates, collect some money and help the poor friends to admit them in school, buy books or make school uniform.

Name: Age:42 Occupation: When we talk with him he tells us the issue he concerns- poverty, environment pollution, tree plantation and health. He thinks that everybody has individual responsibilities. He often motivates his neighborhood to solve these problems. He participates in different national programmes on those issues. He is determined to work for a pollution free and poverty free world.

The results of our interviews: We are motivated by their interviews to work for our community and all the people of the world to solve these problems. We think everybody has some responsibilities for their family, community and country. We decided to start a long term activity.

We decided to form a group of ten members. They will work to motivate other students to work for other. We want to work on - school cleaning, tree-plantation and poverty. We will start it after our annual examination.
