User Experience 2 Self-Evaluation of UX Skills (Scale 1-10)

Research Score 9/10 3 Research proposals and papers have been part of my life since my first days in college. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Worked for a year as an assistant researcher. Quantitative and qualitative methods. Experimental and quasi-experimental designs. Special expertise in Ethnographic techniques because of my interests in social psychology. View of the world as a Social Construct. Microsoft Office, SPSS, Online Survey Services, Endnote, Journal databases.

If research is dinner, usability is dessert. I love it and I’m seeking an opportunity to test my skills. Usability Score 7/10 4  Evaluation techniques  Task Analysis  Flow Charts  Mental Workload  Function Allocation  Heuristics  Personas  Scenarios  Card-sorting  Usability testing  A/B testing  Cognitive Walkthroughs  Think-Aloud  Participant- observation Tools: Office, Axure, Visio, Camtasia Studio and others

Information Architect Score 6/10 5 Tools: Office (Word, PowerPoint), Axure, Wirify, Cacoo Limited experience with site creation and organization (sitemaps, wireframes, and site-flow diagrams) following a user-centered design. However, I know how to relate UX research findings into suggestions on how to improve labeling and navigation. I enjoy it.

Interaction Designer Score 7/10 6 More comfortable creating rapid prototypes and mockups than fully-functional ones. Still have the creative knowledge to be able to communicate with designers.
