Advantages of our SIZI system conception 1/3 Significant participation of scientific, research, development, and testing-line workplaces in the Technological Platform activities. Participation of universities and research institutes on this project represents their unique opportunity to take part in building of the Trans-European railway system whose main mean is determined by the demanded interoperability. Interoperability represents an important innovation impulse and is means of increasing competitive ability of the Czech industry. The project is also the direct response on EU´s decision on preference of the European railway transport as more environmental technical mode of transport. Verification of interoperability production and products Verification of industrial production owing to interoperability demands is made by accredited testing laboratories and their results are interpreted by authorised and notified bodies. The Technological Platform closely cooperates with accredited laboratories and notified bodies of the Czech and Slovak Republic under the Agreement on cooperation of accredited laboratories and notified bodies.
