The Mentorship Program “Those having torches will pass them on to others”-Plato

The Mentorship Program Once again, participation in the middle school’s mentorship program will be offered to all 8th grade students.

The Mentorship Program Students and mentors will meet for: –six to eight hours –during or after school –in January, February and/or March

The Mentorship Program Example 1: One Day for 8 hours

Example 2: Weekly for 2 Hours

Example 3: Monthly for 2 Hours

If a student must miss school to meet with his/her mentor, the student must obtain permission from his/her parents and teachers and must make-up all class assignments.

The Mentorship Program Students will be asked to document their mentorship experience through a creative display No formal grades or homework will be assigned.

The Mentorship Program To participate in this program, complete the mentorship request form on-line that you receive through your school account. Any questions can always be ed to Due Date: Monday, Nov 17 th

The Mentorship Program

Upon completion of the mentorship request form, a group of parent volunteers will attempt to match the student with a community mentor.

The Mentorship Program The initial meeting of the matched mentors and students will take place in the evening during the Mentorship Orientation Presentation on January 14 th at 7pm in the WMS Cafeteria.

The Mentorship Program Students will share their creative projects at the Mentorship Celebration in April (Date TBA).
