 Born in British Columbia in  His father was Swiss, his mother Aboriginal (Dane-Zaa Nation).  Lost both his parents at a young age.  Remembers how his mother used to constantly find new uses for objects.  Studied art throughout the 1980s and 90s, living in Montreal, New York, and Vancouver.  Has become a leading Canadian artist today – famous for repurposing materials and creating art with Canadian Native tradition.
