Marking period grades will be determined by the number of points you earn on the following things: –Tests (usually one per chapter) –Quizzes (at least one per week) –Homework (typically given every night) –3 points each. 1 point if turned in 1 day late. –Notebook Quiz (one per marking period) –BPO (Bonus Point Opportunities) Report cards and progress reports are sent home electronically. PSSA English Language Arts and Math/Science: The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) includes assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics which are taken by students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. The English Language Arts and Mathematics PSSAs include items that are consistent with the Assessment Anchors/Eligible Content aligned to the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
