Win XP Pro Driver Availability If the device is listed on the HCL it will have a driver that will work with XP. A Windows 95, 98, Me, device driver will not work with XP! A Win 2000 or NT driver may work. Most new devices have device drivers on the XP installation disk or are available from Microsoft. If the driver is not available form Microsoft try the device manufacture’s web site. If an XP compatible device driver can not be found, then you can not use the device with XP.
