How do you set up your document camera?  There are many factors to consider when selecting a set up configuration:  What equipment will be used with the document camera?  Do I wish to use recording capacity and have view SD card storage?  Will I be using audio?....  There are 2 common ways to set up your document camera  Typically your set up is always based on the premise that you will wish to switch back and forth from your laptop view to your document camera view.  The set up tends to be based on whether you wish to use the software tools or not?

Installing application software  The application software installed on the computer enables you to:  Control the DC170.  Capture and record images.  Annotate the image, highlight important details and save it.  Support the full screen function. Please refer to Ladibug™ softw are user manual for installation steps and software operation.

Start Using  Place an object to be displayed under the camera.  Turn on Power  Press [AUTO TUNE] button to optimize the image. You are ready to teach/present.  Each time the camera head is moved, please locate it and then press [FOCUS] to refocus the lens.  When using the remote control, aim at the remote sensor on the DC170, and press the power button.  Once DC170 is turned on, the LED on the control panel will flash a few times and stay lit. Please contact your distributor if the LED is not on.
