What will we learn? 4 What a desktop is and what is on it 4 What the title bar, toolbar, menu bar and task bar are 4 How to create, move, rename and delete folders and files 4 What the Minimize, Maximize, and Restore buttons are and what they do 4 How to scroll, re-size windows and drag objects 4 What the keyboard shortcuts are

Desktop Components Quick Launch Toolbar Start Button Icon Taskbar

Recycle Bin 4 Deleted files are initially placed in the Recycle Bin. 4 A file that has been accidentally deleted can be restored. 4 Periodically, the Recycle Bin should be emptied. 4 Files deleted from a Floppy Disk are NOT placed in the Recycle Bin.

Menus Commands or functions in Windows 98 and applications are accessed through menus or toolbars. Menus are organized into groups of related commands.
