Policies to Further Restrict Youth Use Hours of sale o La Plata County: Retail marijuana establishment sales restricted to 8:00am-8:00pm. Limit the density of stores Licenses for retail marijuana establishments are necessary for both the state and local jurisdictional levels o Adams county is allowing a maximum of 10 retail store licenses o State did not place a cap on production
Policies to Further Restrict Youth Use Zoning o San Miguel County: Marijuana Establishments must: Be at least ½ mile from schools, child care facilities, drug or alcohol rehabilitation centers and designated residential areas. Minimum lot area is 5 acres Demonstrate adequate water supply for the proposed use
