Student Page Top Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion Standards Credits Introduction Let’s pretend for a minute that we are living in Germany in the late 1930’s. Everywhere you look, you are bombarded with Swastikas, armed SA troops, and the Nazi propaganda. Could you predict how you would feel in this situation? Would you follow Adolf Hitler, or would you avoid following the wave of propaganda and take a stand? This assignment is an opportunity for you to do the research in order to find the answers to these questions: Can you stand alone against your country? Are you willing to risk everything for strangers? Could you risk your life to spare another? “And then they came for me” – Anne Frank

Student Page Top Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion Standards Credits The Task In order to complete this assignment, you must: Research one of four aspects of the Holocaust in order to gain a better understanding of what really happened Apply this new knowledge and the knowledge from your group to your own values and beliefs Decide where you stand on the given question in a 4-5 page paper, providing evidence from the research you have conducted: Would you hide a runaway Jewish person to save them from being sent to a Concentration Camp, endangering your own life in the process? Why or Why Not? “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart” – Anne Frank
