Admissions Requirements The basic admissions requirements include: High school “A-G” college prep courses Grades and test scores Graduation from high school

College Preparatory Pattern a)U.S. History or U.S. History and Government, and Social Science b)English c)Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra ll) d)Science with Lab (CSU requires one Biological Science and one Physical Science) e)Language other than English (two years of same language) f)Visual and Performing Arts (A single yearlong approved course) g)Electives 2 years 4 years 3 years 2 years 1 year _______________________________________________ Comprehensive a-g pattern of college preparatory study - 15 Units

Grade Point Average The high school GPA is based upon grades earned in all approved college preparatory courses taken in the 10 th, 11 th and 12 th grade. Initial decision can be made on 10 th and 11 th grades.

Tests & Scores The CSU accepts the SAT or ACT. CSU examines only Critical Reading and Math portions of SAT. If a student submits multiple score reports the highest score earned in each single sub score of the examination is used. Example: 1st time: 500 M CR= nd time: 550 M CR= 1100 CSU total = 550 M CR= 1150
